There’s been a rash of proposed flavor bans in the Bay Area, which inspired my husband, founder of Not Blowing Smoke, to launch the Adults Like Flavors website. In order to raise awareness and motivate vapers and their families to show up at the relevant city council meetings, the #AdultsLikeFlavors Hornblower Cruise set sail around the San Francisco Bay on the afternoon of June 3, 2017.
Despite the short notice, we had a good turnout for the cruise, and people did show up in San Leandro on June 5, in Oakland on June 6, in Contra Costa County on June 13, and in San Francisco on June 14. I may manage to write more about that in another post, but I’ve already taken a lot of time away from work for this, so I might or might not get to that. I suppose I could cheat and just publish my written, re-written, and revised-to-try-to-fit-in-one-minute testimony, but I suspect that once I get started, I’m likely to go on. And on.
Anyway, it was a lovely afternoon for a boat ride, so whether or not you care about the availability of flavored vapor products to legal adults, you might want to see the photos. They came out better than I expected.
And if you’re interested in hearing more about the event itself, you can watch the two videos below. The second one is an interview with Stefan and me.
